The Norwich Malayalee Hindu Community is a group of people from the Indian state of Kerala who live in and around Norwich. It is part of the wider Malayalee community which aims to preserve Kerala’s culture, traditions, and values while helping members stay connected in Norwich The Hindu community regularly comes together to celebrate religious and cultural festivals such as Onam, Vishu, and other traditional events. Many of these gatherings are held in areas like Hethersett, where families and friends meet throughout the year. These events are not just religious—they also provide an opportunity for Malayalee Hindus to socialise, strengthen community bonds, pass on cultural traditions to younger generations, and maintain a sense of identity while living abroad.
